Additional information regarding absences:

If the school is unsure about your child’s absence you will receive a phone call.

MOE – In New Zealand, taking a student out of school for a vacation during the term is generally considered an unjustified absence by the Ministry of Education. The Education and Training Act 2020 requires students to attend school unless they are sick or have a compelling reason for being absent.

It is sometimes necessary for parents to take children from school during school hours.

Please notify the school office before going to the classroom to pick up your child. Children must be signed out at reception before leaving school.
